John Winter wins DLA Trade Award for Best Aftercare Service

Leading foundry and dental supplier, John Winter was recently crowned the winner of the Best Aftercare Service at the Dental Laboratory Association’s Trade Awards. 

The awards, in their third year, are hosted to recognise those that are providing service and products above and beyond the norm. 

John Winter’s Sales Director, Adam Bennett said: “This is a fantastic achievement for our dental customer services team. We work hard at ensuring our customers receive the best possible service in all areas of our business.” 

As well as supplying its own products, John Winter is also the official distributor for Shera GmbH, a manufacturer of high quality die stones, investments and other laboratory consumables.

The company also supplies a wide range of laboratory furniture and has completed a wide range of bespoke designs and installations, both in the commercial sector and the NHS.

Supported by the Dentistry Show and DTS 2017, there were eight categories at the DLA Trade Awards, where John Winter was also shortlisted for Trade Company of the Year.

John Winter’s foundry divisionworks with a network of agents and distribution channels to service clients in over 40 countries across Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America and Central America, the Middle East and South Africa. 

Bennett added: “We operate and compete with some very large companies and we pride ourselves in offeringa personal touch.” 

The firm recently joined Made in Yorkshire as a Gold member Bennett said of the membership: “Having had previous experiences with Made in the Midlands and the benefits of their networking and promotion, I jumped at the chance to be given the opportunity to be involved with the Made in Yorkshire team and the start of the Council.”

The company will be exhibiting its product range on 10th May at Manufactured Yorkshire on Stand 38. Bennett is looking forward to attending the event: “The Manufactured Yorkshire event at Elland Road is already getting a buzz. There is an excellent array of companies involved and the guest speakers will make it a fantastic day for sharing best practice. We plan to exhibit some of our latest 3D scanning and printing technology, plus a number of surprises for delegates.”
